The Mercedes Tigers defeated the Yellowjackets 49-14 at Tiger Stadium Friday night. The Tigers were leading 28-7 at the half, and they didn’t let off the gas scoring three more touchdonws in the second half to win the game. 

Mercedes (2-0) will take on McAllen Rowe (0-2) Thursday at 7 p.m. on the road.
