The Mercedes Chamber of Commerce and The Mercedes Enterprise hosted the annual Meet the Candidates forum at the Mercedes Civic Center at H-E-B Park, moderated by Dr. Barbra Baggerly Hinojosa. At the podium is Commissioner Joe Martinez; also pictured are Rolando Garcia and incumbent Mayor Oscar Montoya. Stephanie Ramirez Valdivia and Velda Garcia were not in attendance.
