The Post’s next meeting will be a Social Meeting scheduled for April 23, Wednesday at  7 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who supported our BBQ Chicken Plate meal  on Monday to help American Legion Post  member Leo Villareal and family who lost their loved one Rebecca Villarreal-Salinas. Many members helped make the food and deliver it –  was a great success in our commrade’s time in needd.  We are especially grateful to all the American Legion Post members who participated, including the Sons of the American Legion, Auxiliary, and American Legion Post Riders.

“I would like to send out a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to all that helped cook, serve and sponsor the meal for us in this time of need,” Leo Villarreal said.

For those looking to have some fun while supporting a great cause, we now have a gaming area inside the Post, where players can win sweepstakes prizes while helping raise funds for the American Legion. We are calling the entertainment effort Operation Sweepstakes: five sweepstakes machines are in operation to support the Legion’s operations, including scholarships and Boys State programs. Stop by the Legion for more information.

Canteen hours are  2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mon., Tues., Thursday, Friday, Saturday. 

Kitchen hours 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Tuesdays. Menu offers Fried Chicken and Hamburgers on alternate Tuesdays. 

Fish Fry Fridays will continue.
