The Mercedes Enterprise caught up with a number of RGVLS participant Estrella Pavon heading to the competition to show off her work with his animal. Here is what she had to say:

Q: What club are you a member of?

A: Queen City 4-H.

Q: What will you be presenting at RGVLS?

A: Heifer

Q: What is your animal’s name?

A: Ms JF Bella 

Q: What is your animal’s breed?

A: Grey American Brahman

Q: What do you like most about RGVLS?

A: What I like most about RGVLS is showing and being able to meet new people.

Q: Tell us your favorite memory presenting at RGVLS?

A: Winning showmanship the past two years at RGV Brahman & F1 Association. 

Q: Who or what encouraged you to join FFA and compete at RGVLS?

A: The love that I have for the animals.

Q: What is your goal at RGVLS competition this year?

A: My goal at RGLVS competition this year is to be able to win Showmanship.

QWhat is it like for you when you when you come to participate at RGVLS?

A: It is a really good experience for me to learn and to compete with other people.

Q: What would be your best advice to someone who wants compete at RGVLS?

A: My best advice to someone who wants to compete at RGLVS is to never give up and to always try your best.

Q: What is the weirdest, or funniest thing your animal as ever done while you have been raising it? 

A: The weirdest or funniest thing my heifer has done while raising her is when she jumped and kicked in the air.

Q: What is your go to food or snack at RGVLS? 

A: My favorite are chips and candys.

Q: What is your favorite game or carnival ride at RGVLS?

A: My favorite ride at RGVLS is the swings that spin up high in the air.
