The Mercedes Enterprise caught up with De’Asia Brown to ask her about the basketball 

season and her game. Here’s what she had to say in the Meet the Tigers Q&A:

Q: Who’s the greatest basketball player of all time?

A: Kobe Bryant

Q: When did you first know you loved to play basketball?

A: When I was 7 I played my first game I knew I was gonna like it and it was going to mean something to me, not so much loved. 

Q: What do you do to get ready for game time?

A: Go over plays I may need help on.

Q: Who has helped you get to the level you are at in basketball? 

A: My Dad.

Q: What does it mean to you to be on the varsity team?

A: It really means a lot I feel like I worked so hard to get here and it paid off. 

Q: What is your main goal for the basketball season?  

A: To take in and learn as much as I can so I can be ready for next year. 

Q: What is your favorite memory as a basketball player on the varsity?

A: Basketball Tournaments and eating out with my team.

Q: What is one of your goals for after high school? 

 A: To go to college and graduate. 

Q: What is your dream school/university?

A: UT-Austin

Q: What is your favorite classroom  subject?

A: Math
