The Mercedes Lions Club is having a “Soup Fest” on January 24 at the American Legion, 321 South Ohio St., in Mercedes. TX.  It will begin at 4:30 p.m. and run until 7:30 or until the soup runs out. Lions’ members will make their specialty of soup, chili, etc. and serve it with crackers. i
